about

Hey friends, its that time again where I get to release what I've been working on for the past months.

I'm super excited to announce the next Neyana EP, Emergence.

This is a sneaky little 3 track ep that I wrote in lockdown in the year of years…. 2020.

At the time of writing, I didn't know it but I would go on to capture; my personal journey into the pandemic; dealing with the relentlessness of strictest lockdown in Australia, in the hottest of hot spots of Victoria; and then the joy and freedom of emerging into the world again.

And so emergence represents for me a unique period of time in in the pandemic, where I was forced confront the break down of major structures of my life, relentlessly forced to deal with my inner landscape, and then the emerging into recreating myself and my next chapter.

I felt that the artwork offered by the insanely talented Matik., spoke to my experience through the pandemic in being stripped bare of these layers or structures.

I'm delighted & grateful to have these tracks mastered by Spoonbill and released on Tranquil Sounds Productions.
